Stellar is a chapbook of collaged poetry released with Ramblr Press about loss, grief, and thanataphobia.

Before the pandemic started in 2020, Aleesha Lange suffered the loss of her beloved Aunt Pami, with whom she spent a substantial amount of time with during her childhood. The intersection of feeling lonely in her grief and the desire to have it witnessed was motivation for putting pen to paper.

Towards the end of the first draft of Stellar, Lange’s world was rocked once again with the loss of her Aunt Lori. The final poem in this collection titled “Day 1 without” was written the day of her death and is a precursor to the next poetry collection currently in the works.
